Key Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation and monitoring of the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) across projects.
• Analyze and report on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance, including key metrics and trends, to ensure continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with national and international environmental and social standards.
• Collaborate with site teams to integrate sustainability initiatives into operations effectively.
• Engage with stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and local communities, to promote ESG goals.
• Conduct assessments and audits to identify ESG risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Conduct training programs related to the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS).
• Prepare comprehensive ESG reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency.
• Stay updated on evolving ESG regulations, frameworks, and best practices to drive compliance and innovation.
• Support the development and execution of corporate sustainability strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or environmental and social impact management.
• Proven experience in implementing and monitoring Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS).
• Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and SDGs.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret ESG metrics and trends.
• Experience conducting ESG audits, risk assessments, and stakeholder consultations.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hindi and English for preparing reports and engaging with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
• Ability to travel 10-15 days in a month (Pan India) is a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in ESG, sustainability, or environmental management (e.g., ISO 14001, LEED, etc.).
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent certification in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management.
• Familiarity with relevant local and international regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to deliver training and capacity building on ESG and sustainability topics.
