Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Welding Operations:
•    Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding tasks according to blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
•    Follow detailed welding instructions to create precise and high-quality welded joints.
2.    Welding Equipment Setup:
•    Set up, adjust, and operate MIG welding equipment, ensuring machines are calibrated correctly for optimal operation.
3.    Quality Control:
•    Inspect and test welded joints and materials to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
•    Ensure welds are consistent, durable, and meet the required strength and appearance criteria.
4.    Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
•    Regularly maintain welding equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues with welding machinery.
5.    Safety Compliance:
•    Adhere to workplace safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
•    Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company and regulatory safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
•    Proven experience in MIG welding and operating welding machines.
•    Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
•    Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
•    Knowledge of welding materials and techniques.
•    Ability to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.

Physical Requirements:
•    Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks.
•    Ability to lift and carry materials (if necessary) as per work demands.
