Job Responsibilities
• Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, channel partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
• Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization.
• Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
• Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
• Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
• Understand the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
• Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
• Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
• Draw up client contracts in collaboration with other teammates.
• Develop a good understanding of the businesses & products or services and be able to advise others about them.
• Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate.
• Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department and senior management.
• Liaise with the finance team, technical teams, and supply chain departments as appropriate.
• Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
• Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
Required Job Skills
Must Have: exp in SaaS sales, Solution Sales.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
• Experience in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Data Collection, IOT industry .
• Must have extensive experience with asset tracking and inventory business processes, such as but not limited to, inventory cycle counting, asset life cycles, supply chain logistics.
• Ability to organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and requests with frequently changing priorities.
• Ability to master understanding of product functionality and objectives.
• Ability to identify potential product needs based on customers requests.
Ability to provide training.
• Ability to recognize trends in the type and nature of the shifts in market and communicate these trends via reports to management.
• Have extensive business development experience in mobile and/or cloud-based client applications, both licensed software applications as well as hosted/managed software applications (including Software as a Service).
• Energetic, inspiring, self-driven, hard-working, results-oriented and solution-minded
• Must enjoy working with customers and being driven by customer expectations.
• Must possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English language.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
