KEY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Evolve business strategies relevant to his/her market and implement marketing and pricing strategies to ensure profitable growth of the business with effective customer relationship management.
PROFILE OF THE JOB HOLDER
• Ability to explore new business opportunity in coordination with Indian Railways Workshop & Private OEM.
• Capacity to relate to relevant stake holders at customers place and build relationship.
• Focused and energetic approach to build customer rapport.
• Ability to interact with customers on all levels.
• Basic business understanding and good negotiating skills.
• Good influencing skills and an ability to challenge.
• Willingness to travel extensively with in India.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
• To Generate revenues for organization with Indian railways challenging current status quo.
• New business development with railways workshops.
• Log activities and its impact on sales numbers in generating delta business.
• Map tenders floated and ensure our participation in the tenders.
• Ensure that the success rate of tenders goes upto 80% minimum.
• To ensure that the overall unit competences meet SKF customers' existing and future needs and that the unit's resources are used in the most effective and efficient way.
• Negotiate commercial contracts internally and externally.
• To ensure that all opportunities are identified, properly classified, and worked upon.
• To assure customer satisfaction in terms of engineering support through quality, speed, responsiveness.
• To develop and maintain a wide network with the Indian railways.
• Ensure delta business for the Railway Unit in India. Manage customer accounts and contractual obligations.
