Job description

As a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for managing all types of emergencies that can be handled in a primary care clinic setup. You will also be expected to perform various medical procedures and ensure the overall well-being of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Manage emergency medical cases that are within the scope of primary care.
•    Perform suturing, incision and drainage (I&D), and wound dressing as needed.
•    Provide immediate care and treatment for patients in critical conditions.
•    Document patient histories, diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
•    Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
•    Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while handling high-pressure situations.

Skills Required:
•    Proficiency in managing medical emergencies in a primary care environment.
•    Ability to perform suturing, I&D, and wound dressing.
•    Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making abilities.
•    Excellent communication skills, especially in Tamil.
