Job Description: 

As a Tool Room Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to assemble, maintain, and manage tools based on the scheduled production requirements. You will ensure that all tools are functioning optimally, perform regular maintenance, and document maintenance activities to support efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Tool Assembly & Maintenance:
•    Assemble and maintain tools necessary for production operations based on scheduled requirements.
•    Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of tools and machinery to ensure their proper functionality and longevity.
2.    Documentation:
•    Maintain accurate and detailed records of tool usage, maintenance, and repairs.
•    Ensure proper documentation for all tool maintenance, including identifying parts, tools used, and time spent on maintenance tasks.
3.    Tool Calibration & Quality Control:
•    Regularly calibrate tools to meet production standards and quality control guidelines.
•    Troubleshoot any issues related to tools and resolve them to minimize production downtime.
4.    Coordination with Production Team:
•    Coordinate with the production team to understand the tool requirements and ensure the tools are available and in good condition.
•    Ensure that any tool-related issues or breakdowns are addressed promptly to avoid delays in production.
5.    Tool Inventory Management:
•    Maintain an adequate inventory of tools and equipment for production processes.
•    Manage tool replacements and ensure timely procurement of necessary tools.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

1.    Educational Qualification:
•    Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
•    B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
2.    Experience:
•    0 to 3 years of experience in tool room management or related fields within the automobile or manufacturing industry.
