Job Description
The PHP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic web applications using PHP and related technologies. This role involves working closely with other developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure web solutions that meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Web Development
• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs to support application functionality.
2. Database Management
• Design and manage databases using MySQL or other relational databases.
• Optimize database queries and ensure data security.
• Perform database migrations and backups as needed.
3. Front-End Collaboration
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of web applications.
4. Testing and Debugging
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure application functionality.
• Identify and fix bugs in existing codebases.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
5. Security and Maintenance
• Implement security best practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities.
• Maintain and update existing web applications as per client or business requirements.
6. Team Collaboration
• Work closely with project managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver projects on time.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Key Skills:
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Bootstrap, React, or Angular is a plus.
• Understanding of web security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Minimum 1 year experience in relavant field
