We are hiring skilled Medical Coders to join our healthcare team. The role involves converting verbal descriptions from healthcare providers into standardized numeric or alphanumeric codes using ICD 10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. These codes are essential for medical billing, insurance claims, and healthcare data management.

Job Overview:

Medical Coding is the process of converting verbal descriptions of patient conditions, diagnoses, procedures, and treatments into standardized codes. The coding process utilizes key coding systems such as ICD 10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS to ensure accurate documentation and facilitate insurance claims, billing, and other administrative processes. As per HIPAA regulations, healthcare providers require efficient and reliable medical coders to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Review medical reports and convert verbal descriptions into ICD 10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
•    Maintain precise and organized patient records for billing and insurance purposes.
•    Ensure compliance with healthcare documentation standards and HIPAA regulations.
•    Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and treatment details when necessary.
•    Stay updated on coding changes and revisions to ensure accurate coding practices.

Education:
           UG/PG in any of the following fields: Life Science, Medical, Paramedical, Dental, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Bio-Medical, Zoology, Bioinformatics, Nutrition & Dietetics.

Skills:

•    Strong understanding of ICD 10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
•    Analytical skills for converting verbal descriptions into accurate codes.
•    Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
•    Excellent communication skills for collaboration with healthcare providers.
