Job description

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting products during the production process and at the final stages to ensure they meet specified quality standards. You will document your findings, generate reports, and use various quality control tools to monitor and improve the quality of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
1.    In-Process Inspection:
•    You will carry out inspections during different stages of production, following the control plan to ensure the product meets required specifications.
•    Report Uploading: After completing inspections, you will upload the inspection reports into the appropriate systems for tracking and future reference.
2.    Final Inspection:
•    After the product has been completed, you will conduct a final inspection to ensure the finished product complies with quality standards and specifications.
•    Maintain records of final inspections, including any deviations or non-conformities.
3.    Documentation Knowledge:
•    You will need to have a good understanding of key quality control documentation, including:
    SPC (Statistical Process Control): This involves using statistical methods to monitor and control production processes.
    MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis): This ensures that the measurement systems used are accurate and reliable.
    8D (Eight Disciplines Problem Solving): This is a structured problem-solving methodology to identify, correct, and eliminate recurring problems.
    7 QC Tools: Knowledge of the seven basic quality control tools, such as check sheets, histograms, Pareto charts, scatter diagrams, flow charts, cause-and-effect diagrams, and control charts.
4.    Report Maintenance:
•    You will maintain inspection records for both in-process and final inspections. These reports are essential for tracking quality trends, identifying issues, and providing data for improvement actions.

Required Skills & Knowledge:
•    In-Process and Final Inspection: You should be familiar with inspection techniques and standards to assess both ongoing production and final products.
•    Quality Control Tools: Familiarity with SPC, MSA, 8D, and 7 QC tools is essential for analyzing processes and ensuring continuous quality improvement.
•    Documentation & Reporting: Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and report uploading.
•    Knowledge of Control Plans: Understanding of how to follow and implement control plans for process inspection and quality checks.

Ideal Candidate:
•    A person with experience in quality control or inspection within manufacturing environments.
•    Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools like SPC, MSA, 8D, and 7 QC Tools.
•    Good documentation and reporting skills to ensure compliance and tracking of inspections.
