Job description

• Preparation of drawings and details for roads, water supply networks, sanitary water networks, structures (protection walls, retaining walls, aprons, bridges, culverts, water canals, siphons, towers, etc..), buildings (including structures and architectural drawings), electric installations, and others as and whenever specified by the supervisor using AutoCAD applications;

• Prepares engineering drawings utilizing AutoCAD applications for such features as site plans, foundation and plans, front, rear, and side elevations, cross sections, and schedules.

• Interact with engineers and designers and accurately create drawings during the design process.

• Maintain drawing files and coordinated document distribution to other components.

• Understand the uses of drawing levels, reference files, and AutoCAD tools.

• Familiar with drafting and document practices in an engineering office with focus on architectural/civil engineering.

• Fill in technical details using drawings, rough sketches, specifications, and calculations made by the engineers and surveyors.

• Review and prepare design changes proposed by the Infrastructure Team and modify the quantities as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed.

• Assist the surveying team in the visits to the project site.

• Processing Topographic raw Survey data through AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
