Job description

• Play a key role to develop an IT solution independently using mainframe skillset (PL/1, DB2, IDMS)

• Perform build deploy of solutions with necessary quality assurance practices (Code review, Unit Testing)

• Understand the business requirements and active involvement in refining them to meet the intended usage

• Proactive in collaborating with-in team(s) across the organization to deliver the projects operations

• Requirements

• Requirements:

• Extensive expertise in mainframe technologies such as PL/I, JCL and CICS.

• Advanced understanding of database systems, particularly IDMS DB2, and related tools.

• Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, and Jira.

• Expertise in developing pipelines for CI/CD processes.

• Experience in working with different IDE, particularly IDZ.

• Skilled in conducting Impact Analysis and Work Package Estimation for complex PL/I applications.

• Should be well-versed in SOAP and REST concepts and have experience in developing RESTful services.

• In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles.

• Working knowledge of Traditional Agile/Scrum methodologies .
