Job Description 

We are seeking a Materials Testing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sampling and testing construction materials to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to interpret test data accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Sample Collection: Collect samples of construction materials (e.g., soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregates) as per specified testing requirements and industry standards.
•    Material Testing: Conduct various chemical and physical tests on construction materials to evaluate properties such as composition, strength, durability, and other quality parameters.
•    Data Recording: Accurately record and document test results, observations, and any deviations during the testing process.
•    Reporting: Analyze and interpret test results, compiling comprehensive technical reports for clients, project managers, and regulatory authorities.
•    Compliance: Ensure all tests are performed in compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and safety procedures.

Required Candidate Profile:
•    Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
•    Familiarity with testing methods and laboratory procedures for construction materials.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings effectively.
•    Attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
