Job Description:
As a Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to achieve retailer and mechanic sales within your designated territory. You will play a crucial role in promoting and selling the company's automotive product segments, including filters, lubricants, coolants, and brake linings.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Achieve Sales Targets:
• Meet the sales goals and targets by selling automotive products to retailers and mechanics within the assigned territory.
• Ensure consistent sales growth and territory expansion.
2) Promote Product Segments:
• Focus on increasing sales and fitment of key company product segments, such as filters, lubricants, coolants, and brake linings.
• Educate mechanics and retailers about the benefits and applications of these products to drive sales.
3) Relationship Building:
• Build strong relationships with key retailers, mechanics, and workshop owners.
• Establish a network of loyal customers by providing excellent service and product knowledge.
4) Retailer & Mechanic Engagement:
• Tap into the network of local retailers and mechanics, ensuring product availability and fitment across your territory.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and expand product reach within the market.
5) Promote MLP Points:
• Focus on increasing the company’s MLP (Market Leadership Points) by increasing fitment and product visibility in mechanics' workshops and retail locations.
6) Reporting and Documentation:
• Regularly report on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activity to management.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and product fitment data.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
1) Educational Qualification:
• A diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
2) Experience:
• Previous experience in automotive sales or a related field is a plus.
• Fresher candidates with strong communication skills and a passion for sales are also encouraged to apply.
3) Skills:
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with retailers and mechanics.
• Knowledge of automotive products (filters, lubricants, etc.) is an advantage.
• Self-driven with a passion for meeting sales targets.
