Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordination for Company Registrations and Taxation:
• Ensure that all the necessary documentation and registrations required for import/export operations are in place.
• Coordinate the process of obtaining necessary approvals, licenses, and tax compliance required for exports and imports.
• Manage the company's tax documentation to comply with all regulatory requirements.
2. Documentation Management for Statutory Compliance:
• Collect, verify, and maintain all the required documents for statutory compliance, including import/export licenses, customs declarations, and other government documents.
• Ensure timely submission of all compliance-related documents and reports.
• Liaise with government agencies to resolve any regulatory issues related to imports and exports.
3. Import/Export Operations:
• Oversee day-to-day import and export activities, ensuring compliance with all customs regulations and company policies.
• Work closely with logistics, procurement, and other departments to ensure timely shipment and receipt of goods.
• Monitor the flow of goods and track shipments to ensure they are delivered according to schedule.
4. Vendor and Supplier Management:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, vendors, and shipping companies.
• Negotiate contracts, freight rates, and terms with suppliers and shipping companies.
• Work with procurement teams to ensure the efficient handling of goods.
5. Compliance and Risk Management:
• Stay updated on the latest trade regulations, import/export rules, and taxation policies.
• Mitigate risks related to delays, damage, or loss of goods during transit.
• Ensure that all shipments comply with international and local trade regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Export/Import management, particularly in procurement and supply chain management.
