Job description

The Computer Technician/Assistant at JKKN College of Pharmacy will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to students, faculty, and staff in all areas of computer hardware, software, and network support. The successful candidate will be responsible.

Responsibilities:
•    Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and network systems
•    Troubleshooting hardware and software issues and providing timely solutions
•    Managing and updating computer systems and software, including antivirus, firewalls, and security patches
•    Providing technical support to students, faculty, and staff for computer-related issues
•    Assisting in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
•    Participating in IT projects and initiatives
•    Maintaining inventory of hardware and software assets
•    Performing routine maintenance on computer systems and networks

Qualifications:
•    An associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
•    Minimum of two years of experience in technical support or IT services
•    Experience with computer hardware, software, and network systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
•    Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and antivirus software
•    Knowledge of network protocols, network security, and server administration
•    Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•    A commitment to the colleges mission statement, as well as a passion for technology and providing excellent technical support to students, faculty, and staff.
