Job Description:

The Construction / Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the construction site. This role involves ensuring the project runs smoothly, within budget, and on schedule while adhering to safety and quality standards. The supervisor will work closely with construction workers, contractors, and engineers to ensure all construction tasks are completed as per plans and specifications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.    Supervise Construction Activities:
•    Oversee all activities on-site, ensuring work is being carried out according to the plans and drawings.
•    Supervise the construction team, ensuring they are adhering to timelines and safety protocols.
2.    Quality Control & Compliance:
•    Ensure all construction work meets the required quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.
•    Conduct site inspections and ensure that materials used meet the project’s requirements.
3.    Manage Site Safety:
•    Enforce safety regulations and protocols on the site.
•    Conduct regular safety audits to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
4.    Scheduling & Coordination:
•    Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and resources.
•    Prepare and update the project schedule to ensure milestones are met.
5.    Documentation & Reporting:
•    Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and any issues that arise.
•    Prepare technical reports and submit them to senior management.
6.    Problem Solving:
•    Address and resolve any issues that arise during construction, such as delays, quality concerns, or resource shortages.
•    Propose and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
7.    Team Leadership:
•    Lead and mentor a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
•    Ensure smooth communication between teams and provide guidance on-site.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

•    BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related field; Diploma holders in Civil Engineering are also welcome.
•    Experience:
•    1-5 years of experience in construction or site supervision.
•    Freshers with a strong educational background and internships in construction site supervision are also welcome to apply.
