Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assembly of Agricultural Equipment and Systems:
o Assemble parts and components of agricultural equipment or systems according to specifications.
o Ensure the proper functioning of the equipment after assembly and make necessary adjustments as needed.
2. Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with a team of technicians to ensure efficient assembly and meet production targets.
o Coordinate with other departments to ensure parts and materials are available and ready for assembly.
3. Quality Control:
o Inspect finished products for quality and ensure that all systems meet required safety and operational standards.
o Report any defects or issues to the supervisor and work to resolve them in a timely manner.
4. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
o Perform basic troubleshooting tasks during the assembly process to ensure the equipment is functioning correctly.
o Assist with maintenance tasks when required to keep equipment in good working condition.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of the assembly process, including parts used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
o Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications
• Education: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering.
• Experience: Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Skills Required:
o Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, technical drawings, and blueprints.
o Basic knowledge of tools and machinery used in the assembly process.
o Strong teamwork and communication skills.
o Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
o Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues.
